Brighton overview

The UK’s gay capital and premier seaside resort town, Brighton, is a unique place in southern England. It is nice and close to London and boasts a pumping nightlife and eclectic shopping, along with many eye-popping landmarks and fun attractions. Although the shingle beach isn’t the best, there are a ton of attractions along it, including the Palace Pier, amusements parks, and ice-cream parlours. The flashy Royal Pavilion palace is the top Brighton landmark, with its Hindu look, while the city centre has fantastic shopping and a somewhat bohemian feel. The Lanes is the big draw in town for shoppers and those into cafe culture, while a plethora of bars and clubs light the place up at night. London Gatwick Airport is the best bet for Brighton.
