Bournemouth overview

Bournemouth Travel Guide
Bournemouth is a fun family seaside town in southern England known for its beautiful beach and gardens. It is spread over a hillside down to the sea and the seven-mile long beach throngs with visitors in the summer. The beach has a long pier, as with other English seaside resorts of old, and used to be popular with the nobility of the 19th century on account of its spa hotels. Bournemouth is a cut above the average seaside town and is more family friendly and quieter than over-the-top, gay-happy Brighton. The long beach and extensive gardens backing them, the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, and the extensive shopping options help to ensure it remains a major draw. Bournemouth has an international airport, to boot, and is fairly close to London.
